A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney in Houston, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to join a respected plaintiff-side firm with a robust case pipeline and modern operations. The role is ideal for a self-sufficient attorney who can manage their own docket and desires the freedom and resources to grow.

Duties

• Manage a full personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or trial.
• Develop case strategy, prepare demands, negotiate with carriers, and drive resolution.
• Work directly with clients, medical providers, experts, and defense counsel.
• Oversee discovery, depositions, and litigation workflow.
• Collaborate with intake, paralegals, and case managers to maximize case value.
• Build and maintain referral and business-development relationships (optional but rewarded).

Requirements

• 4-8+ years of personal injury experience.
• 4+ years managing your own PI docket.
• Licensed in Texas and in good standing.
• Deep understanding of Texas personal injury law, insurance coverage, and settlement strategy.
• Strong client-management, negotiation, and case-evaluation skills.
• Litigation experience is a plus.
• Located in the Greater Houston area (remote considered for exceptional candidates).

Education

• Doctoral degree in law.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license in Texas.

Skills

• Excellent negotiation and client-management abilities.
