Duties

• Answer calendar calls and argue motions with the goal of handling trials and inquests.
• Draft pleadings, motions, opposition papers, memorandums of law, and appeals.
• Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation and discovery.
• Conduct heavy data entry, research, and preparation of legal documents.
• Handle all phases of Landlord/Tenant and Civil/Supreme matters.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Requirements

• Admitted attorney with a strong desire to be in court daily.
• Professional communication skills and high energy.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• No prior experience necessary, but a positive attitude and ability to learn are essential.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York State.

Skills
