A prominent law firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a driven associate to join its expanding Energy and Infrastructure practice. This full-time, partnership-track opportunity offers hands-on exposure to sophisticated project finance matters in a dynamic legal environment. The ideal candidate brings a collaborative mindset, sharp legal acumen, and a proactive approach to client service within the energy sector.

Duties:

• Provide legal support on domestic and cross-border project finance transactions

• Advise sponsors, lenders, and developers in energy and infrastructure financing matters

• Draft and negotiate complex project and finance documentation

• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including corporate, regulatory, and tax advisors

• Assist with due diligence, risk assessment, and deal structuring

• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards

• Support business development initiatives and client relationship management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling project finance transactions

• Background in representing clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

• Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment and work independently

• Prior tenure at a nationally or globally recognized law firm is highly desirable

• Active Texas Bar membership preferred; required within one year of hire

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar (Texas preferred or ability to obtain within one year)
