Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney for its Westmont, NJ office. The firm encourages diverse and minority candidates to apply. The role involves managing a high-volume caseload and providing legal services to clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, and REO matters.

Duties

• Manage and prioritize a large caseload.
• Draft and review pleadings for compliance with laws and regulations.
• Attend hearings and status conferences.
• Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Provide creative solutions to complex legal problems.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate and member in good standing of the NJ Bar.
• Admission to DE or PA Bar is a plus.
• Experience with title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or mortgage banking is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctorate.

Certifications

• Member in good standing of the NJ Bar.

Skills

• Strong case management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to provide innovative legal solutions.
