Fund Formation Associate
The candidate should have 4 years of experience advising private fund sponsors or limited partners in connection with private fund formation, operational matters, and regulatory matters. Should have experience preparing and reviewing fund marketing materials, negotiating fund partnership agreements and side letters, as well as the applicable rules and regulations arising under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. Experience with Commodity Exchange Act rules and regulations or Subchapter K (partnership tax) is a bonus. Flexible yet dynamic working environment. Must be adept with major MS Office products and have familiarity with working in a law firm environment. Should have J.D. from an accredited law school; excellent judgment and communication (verbal and written) skills; strong legal reasoning; experience working in a collaborative team environment.
