A law firm seeks an entry-level corporate associate attorney for its Canton, GA, office. The successful candidate will assist with various legal tasks related to corporate law.

Job Overview:

• Assist senior attorneys in drafting legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
• Conduct legal research on various corporate law issues.
• Review and analyze mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transaction documents.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in providing legal advice.

Duties:

• Draft and review corporate documents, including articles of incorporation, bylaws, and resolutions.
• Assist in due diligence investigations for corporate transactions.
• Research and analyze legal issues related to corporate governance and compliance.
• Prepare and file corporate documents with state and federal agencies.
• Assist in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong academic background with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent research and writing skills.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.

Education:
