The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate transactional work, specifically in mergers and acquisitions, and possess exceptional drafting and negotiating skills.

Duties:

• Independently manage various components of mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, due diligence materials, and disclosure schedules.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients on M&A matters.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure the successful completion of deals.
• Assist with client communication and coordination during the transaction process.
• Analyze and assess legal risks associated with M&A transactions.

Requirements:

• 5-9 years of relevant experience in the field of corporate law, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills, with a proven track record of successful deal execution.
• The ability to independently manage key aspects of M&A transactions.
• Current license to practice law in Massachusetts or eligibility to become licensed in the state.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
