Duties

• Client Intake & Initial Meetings

  • Establish trust and rapport with clients.
  • Document key details of liability, damages, and coverage.
  • Define client and firm action items to set cases on the best path for resolution.

• Investigation

  • Direct investigations to strengthen litigation cases.
  • Assess insurance coverage and collect crucial evidence.

• Negotiation

  • Prepare cases for trial and evaluate settlement values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters, negotiating for optimal outcomes.
  • File lawsuits and guide clients through the litigation process when needed.

• Litigation

  • Draft pleadings and discovery documents.
  • Develop and execute strategies for trial preparation, mediation, or arbitration.

• Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cases progress efficiently.
  • Review and approve drafts of correspondence produced by team members.

Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and litigation abilities.
• Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client care.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
