A well-established law firm in Minneapolis is seeking a motivated and dynamic Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This firm specializes in employment law, advocating for individuals facing workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other legal challenges. The firm also represents executives and professionals in complex employment matters, contract negotiations, and litigation.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and contract disputes.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare persuasive memoranda, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in all aspects of litigation, such as drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for depositions and trials.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, mediations, and hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear and consistent communication.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed (or pending licensure) to practice in Minnesota.
• 0-3 years of legal experience, preferably in employment law or litigation.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to build a practice and market legal services.
• A strong commitment to social justice and protecting employee rights.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Minnesota Bar (or pending licensure).
