Duties:

• Develop case strategies and conduct in-depth legal research.
• Draft complex legal briefs and documents.
• Represent clients by taking depositions and participating in mediations.
• Argue motions and assist in trials, often serving as second chair.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to build litigation tactics.
• Engage in all aspects of litigation from case inception through resolution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense, professional liability, personal injury, or appellate law.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research and draft clear, effective legal documents.
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota.

Skills:

• Litigation and trial preparation.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Communication skills for interacting with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Negotiation and mediation experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
