Duties

• Serve as lead counsel on felony and high-stakes criminal cases.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution with strong follow-through.
• Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, and jury trials.
• Evaluate cases early to identify risks, strengths, and strategic opportunities.
• Develop tailored, results-oriented defense strategies.
• Draft, review, and file motions, briefs, and legal documents with precision.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff while maintaining case ownership.

Requirements

• Several years of criminal defense experience with progressive responsibility.
• Extensive jury trial experience (50+ trials preferred).
• Federal criminal case experience.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Ability to meet or exceed monthly billable hour requirements.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Florida Bar license.
