Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of criminal defense matters from inception through resolution

• Deliver strategic legal counsel and advocate zealously in court proceedings

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for hearings and trials

• Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure clarity and responsiveness

• Negotiate effectively to secure optimal outcomes for clients

• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff to ensure thorough case preparation

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas

• Strong desire to work in criminal defense

• Prior experience in Texas criminal law is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Commitment to client advocacy and ethical practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
