Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, orders, and correspondence accurately and clearly.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.
• Maintain detailed time entries in the firm's case management system.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure timely task completion.
• Attend weekly litigation team meetings and participate in continuing education initiatives.
• Represent the firm professionally in client and community interactions.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license with the South Carolina Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in family law or related civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of South Carolina Family Court procedures.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn from experienced attorneys.
• Integrity, professionalism, and empathy for clients navigating sensitive issues.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications
