A law firm seeks a highly skilled and motivated Virginia-barred Attorney to join their legal team in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent writing and communication abilities, and the capacity to manage large caseloads independently. Litigation experience is beneficial but not required.

Duties

• Review and occasionally draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in negotiations and litigation processes to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the smooth operation of the law office and assist in case management.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure compliance with legal procedures.
• Continuously update knowledge of laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in Virginia.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Virginia.
