A law firm seeks a motivated associate to support both litigation and transactional work in Richmond, VA. This full-time, in-office position offers an exceptional opportunity for candidates with 1-3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and research abilities and be comfortable with depositions, court appearances, and drafting legal documents.

Duties

• Represent clients in state and federal court litigations.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
• Manage day-to-day case activities.
• Collaborate on case strategy discussions.
• Draft and review legal documents and correspondence.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Communicate and work with local counsel.

Requirements

• 1 to 3+ years of litigation or related experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Virginia State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Virginia State Bar admission.
