A law firm located in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Professional Liability Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience handling Professional Liability Litigation matters and possess superior academic credentials.

Job Overview:

The Professional Liability Associate Attorney will be responsible for independently managing a litigation caseload, handling court appearances and depositions, and communicating with clients to provide status reports. This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously.

Duties:

• Handle Professional Liability Litigation matters
• Independently manage a litigation caseload, from inception through resolution
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
• Communicate with clients to provide status reports
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with partners and other team members on case strategy and development
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and support staff as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or civil litigation
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Law Review/Law Journal or Moot Court experience strongly preferred
• Admission to practice in California
• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education:

Juris doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school

• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience handling Professional Liability Litigation matters is preferred
