Location: Rocklin, CA

Duties:

• Provide legal advice to clients on labor and employment law matters.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including depositions, hearings, arbitration, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support client needs.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and other legal correspondence.
• Advise clients on wage and hour compliance, employee classification, and other employment-related issues.
• Engage in negotiations and dispute resolution on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently on various legal matters.

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in labor and employment law or related fields.
• Proficiency in providing legal advice and engaging in negotiations.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, arbitration, and trial is a plus.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Member of the California Bar in good standing.

Skills:

• Expertise in labor and employment law, including wage and hour compliance.
• Strong negotiation, litigation, and legal drafting skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
