Manager, Tax - M&A and Integration

The candidate will provide tax advice on structuring acquisitions/dispositions. Collaborate with the business and other corporate stakeholders to develop and implement acquisition structuring and post-acquisition integration step plans. Research and analyze the latest developments in US and international tax legislation as they apply to acquisition/disposition structuring. Assist with tax due diligence for US and foreign acquisitions and investments. Review transaction documents from a tax perspective. Refine and execute post-acquisition opportunities, working with other tax specialists, as required. Draft/review documentation related to tax positions taken and required disclosures. Assist with other transactional or product-related work as needed. Define and identify issues that require escalation; recommend an escalation path appropriate to the issue and project prioritization. Support the Tax Compliance and Provision, Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing and Information Reporting groups on other tax integration issues as needed. Create a comprehensive tax integration project plan, which includes all tax workstreams and functional tasks to achieve integration milestones, managing the day-to-day tax integration efforts. Manage outside law firms and consultants. Identify and support process improvement initiatives to increase overall efficiency.
