The ideal candidate will join a collaborative legal team committed to high-caliber advocacy and effective case strategy.

Duties:

• Draft and review motions, pleadings, discovery documents, and legal memoranda

• Perform legal research and analyze statutes, case law, and procedural rules

• Assist with pretrial and trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness outlines

• Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials when necessary

• Participate in case strategy sessions and contribute to litigation planning

• Maintain clear communication with clients, co-counsel, and court staff

• Organize case files and ensure timely filings

• Monitor changes in civil litigation laws and related legal trends

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Oklahoma

• 0-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in defense matters

• Demonstrated legal writing and oral advocacy abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience handling or supporting discovery, depositions, and pretrial matters

• Familiarity with litigation software and legal research platforms

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail with strong organizational habits

• Skilled in time management and the ability to meet strict deadlines

• Familiarity with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or equivalent legal research tools

• Experience with medical malpractice or insurance defense is advantageous
