A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Redevelopment, Land Use & Zoning Group in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will have over five years of relevant experience and the capability to manage development applications from start to finish, including resolution compliance and post-approval matters.

Duties

• Handle development applications from inception to completion.
• Address resolution compliance and post-approval issues.
• Represent developers before planning and zoning boards as first chair.
• Negotiate redevelopment agreements.
• Navigate the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• First chair experience with planning and zoning boards.
• Strong understanding of Municipal Land Use Law.
• New Jersey bar admission required.
• Experience in New York or other jurisdictions is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New Jersey.
