Job Overview: A law firm in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a diligent and experienced PIP/SIU Associate Attorney to join their team. The role primarily involves handling cases related to fraud and special investigations, including medical provider fraud, work comp fraud, first-party property claims, and other no-fault litigation nationwide.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on cases involving PIP (Personal Injury Protection) and SIU (Special Investigation Unit) matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Manage and oversee litigation processes from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues on case strategies and developments.
• Monitor and interpret laws, regulations, and rulings impacting PIP and SIU cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar; additional admissions in other states preferred.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience focusing on PIP and SIU cases.
• Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in fraud investigations and no-fault litigation is advantageous.
