A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Senior Attorney in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) and a strong background in employment litigation and defense.

Duties

• Manage and oversee PAGA claims, including class action-style lawsuits.
• Provide counsel on compliance with California labor laws and conduct audits.
• Foster and expand client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff on PAGA-related matters.

Requirements

• Well-established employment litigation and defense background.
• Significant PAGA/Class/Compliance expertise.
• Jury trial/civil court trial experience preferred.
• Experience with public entity defense is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees.

Certifications

• Member, State Bar of California in good standing.
