A law firm seeks a Senior Employment Law Attorney to join their Employment Law group in Silicon Valley, CA. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel and representation in employment law litigation, advising employers on a wide range of issues and defending against various claims.

Duties

• Provide expert legal counsel and representation in employment law litigation.
• Assist clients with defense against FEHA, Title VII, and related common law claims.
• Defend class and PAGA action cases.
• Handle trade secret and unfair competition actions.
• Defend wage and hour claims.
• Represent clients before state and federal administrative agencies.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Actively pursue business development opportunities to assist in the growth of the firm's employment law practice.
• Present employment law trainings and seminars for clients.
• Supervise and mentor associates.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in employment law litigation.
• Proven track record in handling complex employment law matters.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
