Experienced Paralegal
The candidate will be working one of the fastest growing law firms. Will daily interact with the clients. Responsibilities include, assisting lawyers in the courtroom, and organizing files. Preparing case-files for hearings and trials. Scheduling events on the Firm’s master calendar. Drafting letters and simple court documents. Conducting research about laws and judicial decisions. Helping attorneys prepare cases for hearings. Communicating with clients providing updates and gathering information. Preparing discovery and responses to discovery demands. Should have completed a course of study offered by a college or university especially for Paralegals, and have a certification as a trained Paralegal. Must have 2+ years of real property law experience. Civil litigation experience is important. Be punctual, computer literate, and have a great attitude. Must have first-rate interpersonal skills and be comfortable on the phone with clients and effective at developing rapport with prospective clients
