Attorney - Intellectual Property, Emerging Technologies and Corporate Operations Group
The candidate will provide effective legal counseling and advice the company on emerging areas of law related to data privacy, such as CCPA, GDPR, and other privacy laws and regulations, as well as cybersecurity and autonomous vehicles. Provide legal support and guidance on other matters such as mergers & acquisitions and trade compliance. Draft, review and negotiate a variety of documents related to these areas of laws. Manage related litigation and pre-litigation matters directly or with the assistance of outside legal counsel. Interpret applicable laws, rulings and regulations, and advise Navistar on legal rights, remedies and options. Provide legal advice, support and services to Navistar on a broad range of topics and issues. Additional preferred experience in private company corporate governance, corporate finance, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and regulatory matters. Provide training to company personnel on substantive legal topics. Help with the creation and implementation of legal policies and protocols. Interact well with and advises senior executives and all other levels of management on various matters.
