Mid-Level Associate - Litigation Product Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with strong legal writing skills to join its Litigation group in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice and be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Supervise junior associates.
• Collaborate with experts in the field.
• Assist with fact development and depositions.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Contribute to developing case strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Extensive experience with Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence and Daubert issues.
• Experience in products liability litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
