2023 Summer Law Clerk Program
The candidate will have exposure to the major legal problems facing low-income individuals, as well as the advocacy skills needed to assist in these cases. Following orientation, will report to their assigned offices and may receive additional training. Can engage in client interviewing, drafting memos, working with community groups, and conducting legal research for cases and community issues. May also work on projects including designing community education seminars, in-depth research on a substantive law topic, or creating written materials for client or staff use. Receive guidance from a mentor attorney in their office. Also, have opportunities to work with other legal advocates and staff.
