• Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while maintaining a focus on their best interests.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
• Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring deadlines and court appearances are met.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients in sensitive and complex situations.
• Appear in court as needed for hearings, motions, and trials.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in matrimonial and family law.
• Admission to the New York State Bar at the time of employment.
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation in matrimonial matters.
• Strong writing and legal research skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively represent clients and interact with colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
