A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Los Angeles, CA, to join their plaintiff-side litigation practice. This role involves managing a variety of complex civil matters, including employment litigation, civil rights cases, and class actions. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners and clients, gaining significant litigation responsibility.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear at hearings, mediations, and case conferences.
• Manage discovery and client communications.
• Assist with trial preparation and case strategy.
• Work on complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Requirements

• Active California Bar license required.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases.
• Employment or plaintiff-side experience preferred, but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar license.
