Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in Devon, PA, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The firm specializes in providing defense counsel in the areas of data privacy, regulatory investigations, and complex litigation matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high-profile cases, including class actions and regulatory proceedings, while collaborating closely with senior attorneys.

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day aspects of complex data privacy and class action litigation matters with guidance from a supervising partner.
• Handle privacy-related tort, contract, and statutory claims filed by individuals against private and institutional defendants.
• Represent clients in regulatory investigations and before regulatory bodies.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
• Oversee document collection, review, and production in large-scale litigation matters.
• Provide second-chair assistance in civil proceedings, oral arguments, and contested hearings, or appear on behalf of clients as needed.
• Maintain regular and timely communication with clients, ensuring consistent reporting on case developments.
• Assist in vetting experts and vendors, ensuring alignment with client expectations and legal strategies.
• Conduct legal research to stay current on emerging issues in data privacy and litigation.
• Complete additional legal tasks as assigned by supervising partners.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience working in a litigation practice group.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania or primary state of residence (additional Bar memberships are a plus).
• Experience in class actions or complex litigation, defense work preferred.
• Familiarity with large document productions and e-discovery tools.
• Previous courtroom and hearing experience, including oral arguments, is highly valued.
• Exposure to regulatory investigations and compliance issues is preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and strategic analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in team settings.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active State Bar license in Pennsylvania or state of residence.
