Insurance Transactions Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm is seeking an Insurance Transactions Associate Attorney for its West Hartford office. The candidate will work on a range of M&A transactions and matters, building subject matter expertise in the growth segments of the insurance industry. They will receive direction from senior attorneys but will also have direct client contact to develop client relationship skills.

Duties:

• Work on M&A transactions and matters within the insurance industry.
• Build subject matter expertise in growth segments of the insurance industry.
• Receive direction from senior attorneys within the firm.
• Develop client relationship skills through direct client contact.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience with M&A transactions or corporate insurance work.
• Experience in either a law firm or corporate legal department.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
