A nationally respected law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Insurance & Reinsurance Practice Group. This role is ideal for attorneys with 4 to 7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation who are seeking to work on challenging, high-exposure matters. The position provides an opportunity to litigate complex claims for major insurers and contribute to one of the most recognized insurance law teams in the country.

Location

• Berwyn, PA

Duties

• Represent insurers in complex litigation involving:

  • Professional liability

  • General liability

  • Directors and Officers (D&O) insurance

• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and supporting legal memoranda

• Conduct and manage all facets of discovery and discovery-related motion practice

• Take and defend depositions

• Appear in court for hearings, arguments, and procedural matters

• Independently manage case assignments and litigation timelines

• Support client development efforts and maintain client relationships

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in insurance coverage and civil/commercial litigation

• Proven experience with drafting motions, conducting discovery, and making court appearances

• Ability to interpret complex policy language and coverage issues

• Demonstrated initiative in client service, team collaboration, and legal strategy

• Business development experience preferred

• Excellent academic credentials and writing skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Legal writing and analytical reasoning at a high level

• Strategic litigation planning and case execution
