Duties

• Lead and manage complex litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, trial prep, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances

• Provide strategic advice to clients regarding litigation risks, opportunities, and case strategy

• Engage in direct client communication and relationship-building to support business development

• Collaborate with internal teams, opposing counsel, and stakeholders to advance client interests

• Advise clients on compliance and regulatory issues related to litigation

• Prepare legal documents and oversee case progress with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience

• Knowledge managing complex litigation or insurance defense cases from start to finish

• Ability to produce high-quality legal work independently or as part of a team

• Excellent client service, communication, and strategic thinking skills

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska, or eligible for Nebraska Bar admission
