Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from inception to resolution

• Conduct depositions and prepare related documentation

• Negotiate settlements on behalf of injured workers

• Guide and support legal assistants and other non-attorney staff as needed

• Maintain accurate records and case updates in compliance with firm standards

Requirements:

• Active license and in good standing with the California State Bar

• Interest or experience in California workers’ compensation law

• Ability to work in a fast-paced legal setting

• Desire to represent applicants (injured workers)

• Strong organizational and case management skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Comfort with technology and legal case management systems
