A highly regarded law firm in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Transportation Litigation Attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will engage in complex litigation matters, including catastrophic personal injury cases involving trucking, aviation, and bus accidents.

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day litigation activities, including hearings, depositions, and discovery.
• Draft motions, reports, and legal correspondence.
• Collaborate with experts to support case strategies, including accident reconstruction and biomechanics.
• Attend in-office training and mentorship sessions in Cincinnati.
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with all deadlines and legal requirements.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain regular communication with clients and colleagues.
• Assist with case evaluations, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.

Requirements:

• Active state bar license in CA, KY, OH, or PA.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury or insurance defense litigation.
• Proven experience in case management, including discovery, depositions, and motion writing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while handling individual responsibilities.

Education:

• Doctoral degree (Juris Doctor preferred).

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in at least one of the following states: CA, KY, OH, or PA.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and insurance defense.
• Experience with accident reconstruction and biomechanics is a plus.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and client-focused approach.
