A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Vancouver, WA. The firm is looking to fill two full-time positions: one for misdemeanor criminal defense and another for dependency matters. Duties

• Represent indigent clients in misdemeanor criminal defense cases.
• Advocate for parents and children in dependency matters.
• Conduct in-person court appearances and jail visits.
• Perform home visits for youth representation.
• Engage in trial litigation and youth advocacy.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of WSBA or eligible for immediate membership.
• Familiarity with WA Criminal Rules for Limited Jurisdictions and WA State Court Rules of Evidence.
• Ability to relocate to Vancouver, WA before starting work.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Washington State Bar License (preferred).
