The candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining records for various Laureate campus-based and online institutions, including regulatory materials, board minute books, operating agreements, compliance documentation and other essential documents. Drafting letters and memoranda. Completing required governmental forms and filings. Assisting with maintenance of legal and compliance database and supporting other compliance-related activities. Supporting business transactions, including due diligence reviews, document requests, and governmental inquiries. Supporting litigation management and processing and reporting on documentary items, including immigration and contract matters. Research, through use of legal and other research databases. Maintaining legal files. Project Management. Other legal support functions as assigned. May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
