Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Finance Associate to join its Finance & Banking Practice Group in Houston, TX. This role offers the chance to collaborate with seasoned transactional attorneys on diverse deals, with mentorship from senior team members. Candidates from Dallas or Austin may also be considered.

Duties

• Advise lenders, borrowers, and clients on finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements and related documents.
• Manage transactions from origination to closing.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in transactional finance.
• Background in leveraged finance, fund finance, or commercial lending.
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas or eligible for admission.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas Bar.

Skills

• Strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
