A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding boutique personal injury law firm. The successful candidate will be a New York State admitted attorney committed to providing exceptional service to clients.

Duties

• Manage a sizeable caseload independently from the start.
• Maintain strong client relationships.
• Stay updated on developments in personal injury law.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and motions.
• Negotiate and prepare cases for mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation.
• Conduct depositions and attend pretrial conferences and court hearings.
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York State.
• Attorney in good standing.
• Preferably 4-6 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience.
• Independent thinking and ambition.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Aggressive attitude to bring cases to a conclusion at top value.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in New York State.
