This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, supporting a dynamic practice that represents insurers in complex commercial litigation, including coverage disputes and defense of bad faith claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in insurance coverage and litigation within a fast-paced team setting.

Duties

• Analyze and interpret various insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and providing clients with recommendations.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and professional correspondence.
• Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis.
• Draft interrogatories and create document demands.
• Review document collections in preparation for litigation cases.
• Submit filings to the court and manage related litigation paperwork.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Demonstrated academic excellence.
• Interest in insurance coverage is essential; experience with general liability policies is beneficial.
• Basic commercial litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Texas.
