Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in Dallas, Texas. This position offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to become part of a dynamic team in a growing location.

Duties

• Participate in commercial litigation, class actions, and product liability cases.
• Engage in courtroom proceedings at both state and federal levels.
• Draft dispositive, expert, and discovery motions.
• Take and defend depositions effectively.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in product liability, mass and toxic torts, or commercial litigation.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Experience in nuisance litigation and trials is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Initiative and ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Interest in science or a scientific/engineering undergraduate degree preferred.
