CORPORATE AND TRANSACTIONAL PARALEGAL
The candidate will be researching laws, rules and regulations to fill out and file corporate, LLC, tax and UCC forms. Performing lien and litigation searches and analyzing results. Preparing initial drafts of documents using attorney-provided forms, including articles, resolutions, operating agreements, bylaws, non-disclosure agreements, and other contracts. Drafting letters, checklists and closing statements. Managing closing checklists and acting as project manager for transactions. Problem-solver: Seeks answers or solutions before asking for help, Strong technology skills, including command of the Microsoft Office suite and document assembly software, Ability to multitask and prioritize, Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, Takes ownership of and pride in work product, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Organization skills: A good planner, Associate degree or equivalent certification as a Paralegal, 5+ years of experience in corporate law, estate planning and other transactional matters are required. Familiarity with local courts are required.
