The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, particularly in business litigation, and be prepared to provide expert legal advice and representation to clients. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to clients, helping them understand their legal rights and options.
• Represent clients in legal matters, including litigation proceedings, negotiations, and settlements.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and client needs.
• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships by providing timely updates and addressing client concerns.
• Develop case strategies, ensuring that clients' best interests are represented at all stages.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on complex cases.
• Manage multiple case files and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and assist in resolving disputes.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on business litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with a team.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and craft effective solutions.
• Proven experience in preparing legal documents and presenting cases in court.
• Strong work ethic, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic and evolving legal environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the North Dakota State Bar.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in North Dakota.
• Additional state bar membership is a plus.
