Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a highly experienced Of Counsel attorney with deep expertise in Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice to support its litigation group. The role focuses on pharmaceutical and medical device product liability matters and includes supervising junior attorneys, working closely with experts, and developing legal strategy in high-stakes cases. The position is full-time with a hybrid work model and offers placement in multiple major legal markets.
Location:
Duties:
Draft and review legal documents including discovery responses, motions, briefs, and memoranda
Lead Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice within the litigation team
Supervise and mentor junior associates and litigation support staff
Collaborate with clients and expert witnesses
Support depositions and fact development activities
Participate in overall case strategy development and litigation planning
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of legal work product
Maintain effective communication with clients and case teams
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience
Experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or equivalent high-caliber legal environment preferred
Demonstrated success drafting Daubert and Rule 702 motions
Background in product liability litigation, with pharmaceutical/medical device focus
Ability to manage teams and multitask across complex matters
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in applicable U.S. jurisdiction
Admission to the New York Bar highly encouraged
