A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join its team in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have three to eight years of experience in handling California employment disputes and litigation, including pre-litigation disputes, single plaintiff cases, and class and PAGA cases.

Duties

• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery requests.
• Prepare discovery and dispositive motions, mediation and trial briefs, and trial documents.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Advise clients on employment matters, including harassment, discrimination, and wage issues.

Requirements

• California Bar admission required.
• Experience in state and federal courts.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take constructive feedback.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
