A law firm seeks an OSHA Compliance Associate in Houston, TX. The role involves supporting and guiding clients on workplace safety and health compliance with OSHA regulations, managing labor and employment matters, and collaborating on environmental health and safety issues.

Duties

• Guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety compliance.
• Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues.
• Create opportunities to address risk through training, policies, and processes.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies and influence policy development.
• Handle litigation related to workplace safety and discrimination matters.
• Represent clients in negotiations and mediations.
• Provide crisis management for workplace safety and health issues.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 3+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required.
• Class action or public sector experience is a plus.
• Admitted to practice law in the State Bar of the primary office location.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
