Duties

• Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including trials and hearings.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage all aspects of case preparation, including discovery and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may affect cases.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and federal court.
• Familiarity with rules of evidence and handling cases in BLS and federal court.
• Ability to work remotely 2-3 days a week, with flexibility for trials and mediations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid BLS Certification preferred.
