Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its California-based practice group. This position is remote, with potential travel to the Newport Beach, CA office. The role involves providing legal representation in real estate, civil litigation, and creditors' rights matters.

Duties

• Manage assigned matters using case management and reporting software.
• Conduct bench trials and motions practice with a focus on civil procedure and loss mitigation.
• Appear in court and travel as required.
• Communicate proactively with clients to ensure superior client care.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, or creditors' rights practice.
• Experience with Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA & FDCPA.
• Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions, and loss mitigation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• CA Bar License (Required).
• Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
