Duties

• Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay.
• Prepare and defend secured creditor proofs of claims.
• Defend motions to value and draft pleadings to protect creditor interests.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates to the firm's systems of record.
• Collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and other firm members.

Requirements

• Bar License in the state of New York (required); multiple licenses a plus.
• Over eight years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent fields preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a substantial caseload.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive relationship development within the industry.
• Working knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of New York (required).
