A law firm seeks a dedicated and skilled full-time Associate Attorney in Brooklyn, NY. The successful candidate will join a dynamic legal team specializing in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Estate and Trust Administration. This role requires at least two years of experience and offers an opportunity to provide high-quality legal services while contributing to the firm's growth.

Duties

• Manage a high-volume caseload with legal assistants and paralegals.
• Draft wills, trusts, and handle guardianship matters.
• Conduct probate and administration proceedings.
• Prepare estate tax returns and handle estate litigation.
• Appear in court across various boroughs/counties.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Surrogate's Court forms and LexisNexis is a plus.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
